Player Performance Spring 2019

With a busy spring 2019 season wrapping up, former and current Rawlings A's Prospects saw success on the field across all levels of play, from college to high school.Check out below to see the success our players have had this spring!

​COLLEGE

Mack McKisson, Cabrini

  • ABCA Third Team Mid-Atlantic All RegionFirst Team All Conference Outfielder (2019)
  • Named to AEC Player of the Week Honor Roll Three Times
  • Philadelphia Baseball Review First Philadelphia All Region
  • Finished with a .368 batting average and led the Cavs with 1.017 OPS in a team-high 171 at-bats. Tallied a team-high 51 runs scored, 63 hits, 42 RBI's, 94 total bases, .550 slugging percentage, .467 on-base percentage, and 33 walks

Billy Godrick, Fordham

  • Walk Off Walk to win the A10 Conference Tournament for Fordham, which is only their second A10 Championship. The team went 38-24 to set the modern day program record.

David Harding, Princeton

  • Honorable Mention All Ivy (2019)
  • Led the team in RBI (24) and was tied for second in runs (22)
  • Produced a .243/.345/.358 slash line

Matt Moon, Shenandoah

  • Named to the ODAC All Tournament Team, as Shenandoah won the ODAC for the second consecutive season and advanced to the D3 Super Regional
  • Hit .310 with 10 RBI's

Scott Huntley, USC Aiken

  • Appeared in 30 games, hitting .268 with 17 runs scored

Drew Hunt, United States Merchant Marine Academy

  • First Team Skyline All Conference
  • Appeared in 16 games with a 5-1 record with 1 save and ERA of 2.37

Craig Wiley, York College

  • Appeared in 25 games as a freshman, hitting .274 with 13 RBI's and 14 runs scored.

Brandon Cook, Shepherd

  • Pitched 12 innings as a freshman to a 3.75 ERA with 12 SO's

Ryan Hunt (GA), UCWV

  • In his first season as an assistant coach under Coach Andrew Wright, Ryan was in charge of hitting and the infield, the Golden Eagles hit .310 as a team with an OPS of .810 and Team Fielding Percentage .943. UCWV fell one game short of advancing to the D2 World Series

HIGH SCHOOL

Charlie Chaffin (HC) , Old Mill

  • In his third year as head coach at Old Mill, the Patriots went on to win the 4A State Championship for the first time since 2003. Old Mill finished 17-8 on the season. The Patriots were led current/former A's Hunter Parrish, Xander Waddell, Nick Cinquanto, Caleb Bailey, Ian Adams, Eric Mondragon and Kevin Curran.

  • MSABC Brooks Robinson Selection Representative
  • Led Old Mill to a 4A State Championship

Nick Cinquanto, Old Mill (Committed to Saint Thomas Aquainas)

  • MSABC Brooks Robinson Representative
  • Led Old Mill to a 4A State Championship

Lane Gay, Saint James (Committed to Palm Beach Athletic)

  • MSABC Brooks Robinson Representative
  • Led Saint James to first Mid Atlantic Conference title

Cael Huyer, South River

  • 2019 MSABC Futures East Representative
  • 2019 MSABC Fresh/Soph East Representative
  • Led South River to a 4A East Regional Finalist after hitting .317 with 19 runs scored and pitching to an ERA of 1.27 in 38.2 IP. Cael went 5-1 on the year while giving up only 7 ER in those 38.2 innings

Brock Goodwin, St Mary's Annapolis

Roman March, Franklin

  • 2019 MSABC North Representative
  • 2019 MSABC Futures North Representative
  • Hit .531 for the Franklin Indians, with 29 RBI's and 30 runs scored. He hit 5 home runs on the year.

Hunter Griebel, Kent Island

  • 2019 MSABC Futures East Representative
  • In 38.1 IP, Hunter had a 1.64 ERA and opponents had an OBA of .192

Jonah Baney, Lansdowne

  • 2019 MSABC Futures North Representative
  • Jeremiah Jenkins, Pallotti
  • 2019 MSABC Fresh/Soph South Representative
  • All Conference MIAA B Conference
  • On the mound, Jeremiah led the Panthers with a 1.60 ERA in 35 IP with 50 strikeouts! Opponents hit just .183 against him. At the plate, he hit .442 with 3 home runs.
